The ECHO Academy (Empower Change-makers for a HarmOnious Europe) is looking for passionate young people who want to transform their ideas into powerful campaigns to curb climate change. Athens is waiting for you to live a unique experience! Organized by Bios organisation at its new cultural center, PLEX in Kerameikos, the ECHO Academy connects young change agents with artists, creatives, and experts in a vibrant network of collaboration. In this edition, we are focusing on the topic of migration, an urgent challenge that requires innovation, creativity, and collective action.

Migration
For the last several decades, Athens has been an active stakeholder at the forefront of the European migration crisis. This complex and multifaceted issue has led to significant social, political, and economic challenges within the city, testing its administrative capacities, societal cohesion, and economic resilience. Simultaneously, it has opened up opportunities for growth, and a rich cultural diversity that has become an integral part of the city identity. The so-called ‘breakthrough Migration deal’ reached in June 2023, though heralded as a fresh perspective and a symbol of unity, still leaves many critical questions unanswered. Issues such as equitable distribution of responsibilities among EU countries, the rights of migrants, integration policies, and the economic implications remain unresolved. A discussion on "Migration" in an Athens Academy will resonate deeply with the local context and tie into broader, contentious EU-wide conversations, thus representing a convergence of local experiences and European challenges.

Who can participate?

We are looking for young people between 18 and 35 years old who meet the following profiles:
- People with ambition, passion for generating impact and desire to develop personally and professionally.
- With experience or interest in areas such as art, creativity, marketing, campaign strategy or climate change.
- Motivated to learn and work in teams in a collaborative environment.

Program structure:
- Application deadline: until October 24 2025, 23:59 ( local time), by completing the online application form.
- Required documents: CV, video, portfolio, or any other creative material that will help us to know your profile and ideas.
- Design Sprint Campaign: from November 10th to 14th, 2025 (mandatory participation in Athens).
- Campaign development: Collaboration with your team for approximately 4 hours per week (in person or online). - Launch and final event: Presentation of the campaigns at PLEX Athens.

What do we offer?
- An intensive 12-week program (November 2025 to January 2026) to turn your ideas into effective campaigns.
- Mentoring, hands-on workshops and guidance from industry experts.
- Production budget for the execution of your campaign. (still to be defined with ECHO) - Participation certificate that validates your achievements with the companies’ seal.

Important Information:
- Language requirements: Advanced level of English required (program will be taught in English).
- Travel and accommodation expenses: ECHO Academy does not cover these expenses, so they must be assumed by the participants.
